Description Ravon R2

Ravon R2 is a front-wheel drive A-class hatchback. It is a converted third-generation Chevrolet Spark with its own false radiator grille and modified bumpers. The R2 presentation took place in October 2015, and the five-door entered our market in August 2016 becoming one of the most affordable cars with automatic transmission.

The overall length of the Ravon R2 is 3640 mm, the width is 1597 mm, the height is 1522 mm, the wheelbase is 2375 mm. So this model is 145mm longer, 102mm wider and 37mm taller Daewoo Matiz. In terms of the distance between the front and rear axles, the R2 is ahead of the Matiz by 35 mm. The front suspension R2 is with MacPherson struts, a semi-independent scheme with a torsion beam is introduced at the rear. The trunk volume is 170 liters, and if this is not enough, the back of the second row can be folded in parts.

The Ravon R2 is equipped with a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with multipoint fuel injection. The four-cylinder power unit develops up to 85.5 hp. power (at 6400 rpm), and the maximum torque of the compact motor reaches 112.5 Nm (at 4200 rpm). The transmission is a four-speed automatic with disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear.

The five-door hatchback accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.4 seconds. The fuel consumption of the Ravon R2 is declared by the manufacturer: 8.2 l / 100 km in the urban cycle and 6.2 l / 100 km in the combined one. The R2 is equipped with a 35L fuel tank.

The basic equipment of the Ravon R2 includes: 2 airbags, electric power steering, ABS, immobilizer, central locking, ISOFIX rear child seat mounting, front power windows, an audio system with MP3, USB, AUX and Bluetooth, as well as audio preparation (2 speakers). In more expensive versions, 4 airbags, rear parking sensors, air conditioning, an on-board computer, heated front seats and side mirrors, power windows for all doors, an audio system with 4 speakers, a height-adjustable steering column and other equipment can be installed.

Ravon R2 is produced in Uzbekistan at the GM-Uzbekistan JV plant.
