Ravon R4 - a front-wheel drive B-class sedan, which is positioned as a car in the Low Cost segment. Built on the basis of the Chevrolet Cobalt, which occupied an intermediate position in the Chevrolet line between the Aveo and Cruze models. Produced in Uzbekistan at the GM-Uzbekistan plant since 2016, sold in Ukraine since March 2017.

The overall length is 4419 mm, and the wheelbase is 2620 mm. So R4 is 96 mm shorter Ravon (Daewoo), but 20 mm ahead of the latter in terms of the distance between the front and rear axles. The trunk volume of the Ravon R4 is 563 liters, which is 158 liters more than the Gentry indicator. The back of the second row is foldable.  

The R4 is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine developed by General Motors. The power of the four-cylinder power unit is 106 hp. (at 5800 rpm), maximum torque - 134 Nm (4000 rpm). It is combined with a 5-speed "mechanics" or with a 6-speed "automatic". In comparison, competing on price sedan ZAZ Vida in a two-pedal modification, it is equipped with a less modern 4-speed automatic transmission.

At the same time, for the opportunity to drive with great comfort, one has to sacrifice efficiency: a Ravon with a manual consumes 8.4 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers according to the passport in the urban cycle, while a sedan with an automatic consumes 10.4 l / 100 km. On the other hand, the advantages of R4 include the compatibility of the power unit with gasoline with an octane rating of 92.

The body structure of the Ravon R4 contains elements of programmed deformation, in addition, the sedan is equipped by default with an anti-lock braking system, a driver's airbag and Isofix child seat mounts. The basic Comfort package includes central locking, an audio system with CD / MP3, USB and AUX support, audio preparation (4 speakers) and a height-adjustable steering column. Standard wheels are steel, with a radius of 14 inches. The same spare wheel is hidden in the trunk. The interior design feature is a dashboard with a large tachometer and digital speedometer. Such a "tidy" is installed on Chevrolet Aveo.

In more expensive versions, the Ravon R4 additionally has a front passenger airbag, front and rear power windows, a mechanically adjustable driver's seat in 4 directions, heated front seats and chrome-plated decorative interior design elements. In addition, in all trim levels except the initial one, the buyer receives a set of folding keys. And at the top level of equipment, the Elegant R4 sedan comes with 15-inch aluminum wheels.
